The Castle of Night and Day
In a castle far away,
A knight of crystal stands,
Entwined in many push and pulls,
From kings of distant lands,
For he has never yet rebelled,
Or stood his ground to say,
I need to do what I see fit,
And do it now today,
For yesteryear has gone and passed,
Yet stuck he will remain,
Until he takes his chariot,
And boards the future train,
For castles old of night and day,
Are seen in black and white,
And ways of mind are good and bad,
It's either wrong or right,
The future presence is the key,
Perspective realigns,
No longer is it night or day,
But follow now the signs,
The knight awakens to the truth,
The truth there all along,
Let go of what has gone behind,
To sing his royal song.
