The first of twin artworks in this two-part series, The Tree of Knowledge depicts the origin of duality. For the creation of heaven and earth, soul and body, polarity itself, creates the Tao of gender and time. Opposites continue to attract and fight, in the never ending cycle of the cosmic spiral. Be free dear one. For light and darkness are one and the same, depending on the perspective viewed. To fight one is to fight the other. For neither can live while the other survives. Would you fight your own shadow? To see all as one, is the unity of the peaceful warrior. Be like a child, do not eat from the tree of time which separates one aspect of you from the other. See both as yourself, expand your consciousness. And sovereign you shall be with love and understanding for all.
