Ode to the Luxury Hotel
(That Should Not Smell Like Body Odor But Totally Does)
Just when I had thought the end,
Had come from my last poem,
The new hotel of luxury,
Brings clear this message home,
Oh dear do not be fooled by looks,
Or price or gold decor,
For BO sets the stage again,
My nose says nevermore,
The air is riddled with perfume,
Like armpits filled with rage,
How can reception sit and smile,
When stenches like that age,
How can the carpet posh and glam,
Exude the stench of sweat,
How can the curtains made of silk,
Have not been laundered yet,
How can the signs say welcome,
When the air says go away,
How can you sit and hold your nose,
While having a nice day,
Oh dear the halls smell awful,
Yet the sheets are satin white,
Their perfume smells like armpit,
Then they wish you a good night,
Downstairs the glass doors glisten,
As the BO rages on,
There must be wizards with a spell,
Called “Eau De BO gone”.
